Helping Those in Need

"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

My friend Adele sent the following to me and I'm passing it along to you. Many of us want to help the victims in Haiti and don't know how. Here is a simple way to do something.

In an effort to help the Haitian children who are suffering because of the devastation of the recent earthquake, NuSkin Enterprises has set a goal of donating 6,000 VitaMeals. I am asking you to help with this.

Please go to:

http://www.nuskin.com/ and then United States.

click on "Products" and under "Nourish the Children" you will see "Donate VitaMeal." Click on the amount you wish to donate (this is 100% tax deductible) and then in the next screen, click on "add to cart." You check out by clicking on the cart at the top of the screen.

The program will lead you through all the rest. Since most of you do not have an account, if you click on "Register for an Account" you will get yet another pop up window for New Customer Account Information. Please put in -- US9218825 -- where it asks for the Sponsoring Distributor ID.

Thanks for your generosity

Adele

This is such a sad situation... and will be worse in the next couple days before dents can be made... Red Cross is my charity of choice (Army past, and they are very good to soldiers), but good work is done by many, and people should consider well the many ptions.... great post

Thank you for spreading the word. As devastating as Katrina was for our Gulf Coast this is even more heartbreaking because of the stats about percentage of population under the age of 18. Who will care for these children left as orphans when even the orphanages are in rubble? my heart aches.

Glad to know that there is yet another way to help the victims of this horrific earthquake.

This is such a sad situation and the Haitian people are so kind and loving that this seems so terribly unfair that this earthquake should happen to them. We knew a lot of Haitians when we lived in the Bahamas and south Florida. Glad to know of another way to help.

I will be going there myself- I am beginning the process. Did you know there were over ONE MILLION orphans BEFORE the earthquake? Can you even imagine the numbers now? 80% poverty rate. 6% of the population is HIV positive. They have NO WAY of helping themselves out of this one- as they were still trying to recover from Hurricane Jeanne. God bless you for helping to spread the word.

Great post Libby. We've all got to help each other when needed, and helping Haiti is very much needed.
