Angel Chicken over Angel Hair Pasta - Oh So Heavenly Delicious - You'll Swear By IT!

Angel Chicken
4-6 chicken breasts or tenders
1 can golden mushroom soup
1 container of cream cheese with chives
1 package dry Italian dressing mix
1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth
1 stick butter
Cook all day on low in crock pot and serve over angel hair pasta.
I mixed the soup, cream cheese, wine and dressing mix together and poured over raw chicken, then topped with the butter which I cut into pieces. You can probably just put it all in there and give it a stir when it's done.
My dear friend, Sherry Thomson, shared this recipe with me and it is so good and so easy. Just smelling it cook was mouth watering. GO ahead try this and I think you'll add it to your favorites list. The nurses at The Surgery Center in Jackson are passing this recipe around and all swear by it. ENJOY!

  7. Sounds so good. Thanks for sharing the recipe. I just copied it, but have a question - are the ingredients mixed then poured over the chicken or is everything just sorta dumped in and stirred later?
Hope you are having a great weekend. They are talking about more bad weather Sun. into Mon. in mine and your area. I am ready for Sunshine & 75 - 80 degree temps.

  8. This sounds luscious, Libby. Although we are on a new regime of eating here in the Sullivan household (hubs was recently diagnosed as a diabetic and is on a low sodium/low fat diet), this would make a great dish to serve for a carry-in or for a girls' luncheon. I am filing the recipe away for just such an occasion! Thanks.

  13. Hi ... a friend sent me the link to your blog. Love it! i was also wondering if you just mix all ingredients together before putting it in the crock pot. Do you cube the raw chicken first? cook the chicken prior or?? Sounds delicious though and would love to try it! Thanks. Lori from MN.

  20. Oh girl, you get me every time! First it was the chicken soup with Velveeta (which disappeared in no time) and now this! Cream cheese? Are you kidding me? Yea, I'll look fabulous in my bathing suit after eating this. Well, it's still chilly, so what the heck, I'm making this.

(And I think I'll make those truffles for dessert.)
