Bona Dea Dip - A Heavenly Concoction of Bacon, Blue Cheese, Cream Cheese, Green Onions and Such

Bona Dea Dip
This recipe is a concoction of bacon, blue cheese, cream chesse, green onions and such and is over the moon served on slices of apples or pears. I think that the Gods must have claimed it for their own, hence the name after the Goddess in Roman mythology, Bona Dea, “the good goddess,” who served as the deity of the earth and of women.PINTEREST
1 cup sour cream
1 (8-ounce) package crumbled blue cheese
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
1 teaspoon Worchesteshire Sauce
1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon white vinegar
2 tablespoons diced green onion
6 bacon slices, baked and crumbled
Process all ingredients except onions and bacon in a food processor until smooth, stopping to scrape
down sides. Stir in half of bacon and tablespoons onions. Cover and chill 2 hours. Sprinkle with
remaining bacon and onions. Serve with crackers, sliced apples, raw vegetables, or chips.
