Cheesy-Choke Bread Pizza - ok I'll take one more slice of that!

Cheesy-Choke Bread Pizza
It's one of those appetizers that makes you want to sneak another slice!
1 (14-ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
2 green onions, diced
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon onion powder
4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
3/4 cup sour cream
1-1/4 cup Italian blend cheese, shredded
1 loaf Italian bread, sliced in half lengthwise
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix the artichoke hearts, green onions, garlic, salt, basil, onion powder cream cheese, sour cream, 3/4 cup of the cheese blend. Hollow ½-inch strip out of the center of both halves of the bread. Spread the mixture into the hole in the bread slices and top with remaining cheese. Bake covered in foil for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and continue to bake until the cheese is melted and golden brown. Allow to rest for 5 minutes; slice into strips and serve warm.
(Putting some toothpicks around the edges of the bread when you cover it with foil for baking will help prevent the cheese from sticking to the foil.)
