Butter Pecan Grahams
It just wouldn't be Christmas at our house without these. It’s homemade toffee at its best and it’s one of those “I bet you can’t eat just one” items. Oh I usually package some up for packages for those good girls and boys.
35 graham crackers
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup pecan halves or rough chopped
Place crackers on 10x15-inch sheet cake pan, covering bottom.
Bring sugar, brown sugar, and butter to a boil in a saucepan. Add nuts and vanilla; pour mixture over the top of the crackers. Bake in preheated 325 degree oven for 10 minutes. Cool for a few minutes in the pan; remove from pan while still warm. Cut into pieces. Store in air-tight container.

If I could keep from eating the whole batch of these yummy treats, they would make a terrific hostess gift!
Yum, yum! Pure sweet decadence! I love this idea. I think I will have to try it when the kids are home for Christmas!
A truly decadent dessert!
Looking forward to trying the recipe. Thank you for sharing.
How long these will keep in an airtight container? Not that I expect them to last long, just wondering how far in advance I could make them.
