Waldorf Salad is an American classic that's perfect for holiday entertaining

Waldorf Salad
This American classic was invented at the Waldorf Hotel in New York in 1896, which is now the site of the Empire State Building. It has stood the test of time and is always a holiday favorite.
1/2 cup Duke’s® mayonnaise
1 tablespoon sugar or Splenda®
1 teaspoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon salt
3 apples cored, and chopped (Gala, Fuji, Pink, or Red Delicious)
1 cup celery, remove leaves, veins, and chop
1/2 cup walnuts, toasted and chopped
1 cup seedless red grapes, halved
In a bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sugar, lemon juice, and salt. Stir in the apples, celery, walnuts, and raisins; toss to coat with mayonnaise mixture. Chill overnight in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Serve over salad greens if desired.
