Tennessee Beef Brisket - cook is slow and easy in coffee, cola, brown sugar . . . so tender and delicious.

Beef Brisket
Slice thin and slip in a yeast roll for pure deliciousness!
1-5 pound boneless beef brisket, well trimmed
1 cup strong coffee, cold
2 cups ketchup
1-10oz can of Coca-Cola
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp liquid smoke
1 tsp Tabasco
24 hrs ahead, place brisket (fat side up) in baking dish. Pour coffee over brisket; seal in heavy foil or cover, and bake in a 200 degree oven for 24 hrs. YES. 24 HOURS!
When it has baked 24 hours remove from oven; pour off liquid. Trim any excess fat still left. Put brisket back in pan. Combine and mix together all remaining ingredients and pour this sauce over brisket. Bake at 200 degrees for 1 more hour.Slice and serve.

Could you use a crock pot cause I can't even imagine what my electric bill would be after 24 hrs and can't believe any meal being worth the price of that spike in my bill

Paula I guess you could use a slow cooker but I'm not familiar enough with them to know how long to cook. Etc.
