Brown Sugar Cream Pie

Brown Sugar Cream Pie
Oh there's nothing like it this side of the Pearly Gates if you like brown sugar!
4 tablespoons butter
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed
1 extra-large egg
1-1/2 cup half and half
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 (9-inch) pie crust, baked
3 cups sweetened whipped cream
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped and toasted for garnish

Cream butter, flour, and sugar together and transfer to a double boiler. Beat egg and add half and half; pour into the creamed mixture and mix well. Cook in double boiler until thickened, stirring constantly. Cool and add vanilla. Pour into the pie crust. Top with plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight. Mound with whipped cream, garnish with toasted walnuts and serve.
