Sanctified Corn Dip with Mountain Dew©

1 cup Mountain Dew©
1 cup Duke’s© mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
3 (11-ounce) cans corn, drained
1 (10-ounce) can rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
1/2 cup green onion, chopped fine
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Dash cayenne pepper, or to taste
1 (16-ounce) package shredded Mexican blend cheese (or sharp cheddar)
Scoop-like corn or tortilla chips

Simmer Mountain Dew© over medium/high heat until reduced by half. Take syrup off heat and allow to cool. Mix with mayonnaise and sour cream.

In a large bowl, mix remaining ingredients except chips. Add the Mountain Dew mixture; stir well. Chill overnight. Serve with your favorite chips for scooping.
