Many have described this as the ultimate summer dessert. It's so easy and the combination is decadent - certainly doesn't taste like something you could make in no time!
24 ice cream sandwiches, unwrapped
2 (8-ounce) containers whipped topping (such as Cool Whip®), thawed
Hot fudge sauce
2 (12-ounce) jar caramel ice cream topping
Arrange a layer of ice cream sandwiches in the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish; top with a layer of whipped topping, caramel topping and drizzle of hot fudge. Repeat layering with remaining ice cream sandwiches ending with a top layer of whipped topping. Cover dish with aluminum foil and freeze until set, at least 30 minutes. Add the hot fudge topping when served. You can heat the hot fudge or just spoon it on from the refrigerator.
