I just love Elvis, and it is so hard to believe he has been gone so long...I still remember it, I was so young then!!
I haven't been to Graceland and would just love to go one day..what else is there to do in the area, I have three very active sons ages 4 - 16.

Hi there Libby! It's been ages since I've got to visit...I'm so glad I found this post when visiting. :) I grew up on Elvis as the younger sister of the teenagers in the house and I was smitten at the age of 6. I still adore his music and his memory. My sisters and I took my mother on her 75th to Memphis to see all the Elvis memorabilia and we adored Graceland. What a fun share today...and one that I really enjoyed. Wouldn't he be proud of these gorgeous and precious grandchildren of Lisa's? Thanks Libby! ~CC Catherine

His grandson looks so much like him, Libby! Oh, I miss Elvis. He was such a fine person and so talented. I'm sorry he didn't live long enough to see those precious grandkids. But what a legacy he left us all with his beautiful voice, recordings, and movies.

Oh, I'm so glad you posted this! I did a post on Elvis today, but I really wanted to find out how they were celebrating it at Graceland and you have shared the festivities.

Nice to know they'll be doing a year long celebration, never know, I just may finally make it there!
